My perspective has changed so much in the last year. I feel better about scrapbooking than ever. I still love the artistic aspect of it - I still love the process - but more than anything,

I feel this great sense of accomplishment every single time that I document something in my life that I value. Some little detail. Some random memory: the crazy things that Cole says, all of Annie's "firsts",
all the things Josh does that make me love him more every day, Courtney's funny little ways and Ross's teenage angst. The good stuff - the rich stuff - the things I never want to forget, but I always do. I'd like
to think that I could make a mental note of all of those things - but it just doesn't happen (my little pea brain is at maximum capacity on most days). Seems like every time I sit down to scrapbook and call upon my mental notes - I am reminded of exactly why I need to be writing this
stuff down.

So the Journaler's Notebook was my solution.Sounds silly, but it makes me super-excited to think about scrapbookers using these things. Makes me super-excited to think that someone might have a little slice of their history - a sweet little memory of something that they would have otherwise forgotten, documented forever because of this idea.

If you get one and you ever use it - I sure would love to see the result.

The Skull and Xbone Collection was also released at Memory Trends and wow are we the talk of the message boards! Haven’t figured out what the hype is yet See if this helps!

As reported, the times they are a changin'...From booming fashion names such as Ralph Lauren and GAP, to retail giants such as Disney, Target and Nordstrom's, skulls have become a permanent fixture in our society. No longer a shocking symbol of all that is dark and taboo usually reserved for rebellious teenagers and the fringe of society, skulls are now the icons of haute couture. Holding strong for well over a year, this trend has touched every genre of design from clothing and jewelry to giftware and home décor.

So, thinking we are crazy? No, we are just a very hip and trendy company who wants to offer the consumer “something different and a little edgy”. Shipping begins in November. Hurry in and ask your local scrapbook store if they will be stocking this line. If they say no, tell them they should!

Free Bare.Elements Sonia Purse Project

Sonia Adame, designer of the Be. products had this to say, “ In the most recent release of Be, we have gone back to our scrapbooking ciwebmanagers and have produced several board books. Because they are small pieces, they are less daunting than trying to complete an entire scrapbook. These books can be done in under a couple of hours. What a fun afternoon project!
The Buzz this month is all about Bare.elements for gifts. Be. was designed as an alternative surface for your scrapbook supplies. Most paper artists have been using found objects to decorate, things like cigar boxes and old wood frames, so we felt it was time to really develop a solid line of products made specifically for the papercrafter. Items like fashion accessories and home décor seemed like obvious choices for the line and they have become incredibly popular.
What I love about be. Is, even though the surface is the same, every finished project is different. Take the Maria purse for instance. It’s half-circle shape lends itself to so many possibilities. A watermelon, a rainbow, a half-moon, a VW bug, a Smile all came to mind when we decided to produce that shape of purse.
My favorite thing about this line is the names of the items. We named each piece after people related to the company. I always think of those people when I work on their namesake products! We also have a fun little competition relating to whose products are the top sellers. Is the Sonia purse number one? Or is it the Chris box? The Carol Clock is a strong contender. It’s silly, but we all want our namesakes to win!”
